1. Define the decision
We identify the reader, use case, and criteria that materially change the decision. Categories do not share a generic ranking formula.
2. Prefer primary sources
We start with provider, manufacturer, booking, policy, and help pages. Secondary reporting and customer feedback may provide context but do not replace primary evidence for product terms.
3. Separate fact from interpretation
Specifications and published terms are recorded as sourced facts. Recommendations, when eventually published, explain how those facts fit a particular reader.
4. Run independent review
A guide is checked for unsupported claims, outdated facts, readability, affiliate disclosure, broken commercial links, and compliance before publication.
5. Recheck volatile facts
Prices, availability, and policies can change. Every volatile fact requires a checked date and is scheduled for review.
